Ingredients:

1 cup macadamia nuts, chopped
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
1 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.

In a separate larger bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.

Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
Stir in the chopped macadamia nuts.

Drop spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet.

Bake for about 10-12 minutes, or until the cookies are golden around the edges.
Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
